Jennifer Lei McPhee Taylor, age 42 of Lindon, Utah, loving friend, daughter, sister, wife and mother, graciously returned to her Heavenly Father, Saturday, Nov. 17, 2001, after a courageous battle with melanoma.

She was born Nov. 26, 1958 to Theodore and Letha McPhee in Twin Falls, Idaho and grew up in Elko, Nevada. She loved her family, she loved the Lord and she genuinely loved all those whom she knew. She loved to cook, read, cross-stitch and decorate her home with homespun elegance. Jennifer was a graduate of Elko High School (1977) where she was an outstanding student and member of the Choraliers. She graduated from Brigham Young University (1981) with a degree in Home Economics. A lifelong and devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she married John Taylor on April 18, 1980 in the Salt Lake Temple. Jennifer raised, loved and nurtured four beautiful children: Larissa, Nicole, Brian James and Brigette Marie.

She loved serving in her church as a Primary president and teacher, Relief Society counselor, Homemaking teacher and visiting teacher. She especially loved teaching the children in Primary. Jennifer accomplished much in the corporate world as an account team lead for Modus Media International, Lindon, Utah and loved her co-workers.

She is survived by her husband, John Taylor, of 21 years; parents, Theodore and Letha (Holyoak) McPhee of Elko, NV; children, Larissa, Nicole, Brian James and Brigette Marie; three brothers, Michael (Marcy) McPhee of Salt Lake City, Gregg (Betsy) McPhee of Alpharetta, Georgia, and Paul (Gloria) McPhee of Henderson, NV; two sisters Rebecca (Delyle) Danner of Puyallup, WA; and Marilyn (Douglas) Christensen of Salt Lake City.

She was loved and admired by all who knew her and she will be greatly missed. We loved, we prayed, we wept, we laughed and we lived life to the fullest. We'll miss your lovely touch and your charming grace. Her favorite saying was: "Home is a good place to be." We'll miss you, Mom.
