WOODS CROSS — Thomaz Lemos tallied a goal in each half to lead Woods Cross to a 2-0 victory over the Olympus Titans.
Matt Smith recorded the shutout for the third-ranked Wildcats, who improved to 7-1 in Region 5 with the victory. Olympus fell to 4-4 with the loss.

KEARNS 1, WEST JORDAN 0:David McConnell's tally in the second half helped the Cougars claw past the Jaguars. Martin Martinez recorded the shutout for Kearns, which improved to 7-2 in league play.
COPPER HILLS 2, GRANGER 1: Mitch Harris scored the game-winning goal in overtime to lift the Grizzlies over the Lancers. Ricky Lara also scored for Copper Hills, while Steve Eskelson scored Granger's lone goal.
BINGHAM 2, RIVERTON 0:Lukas Elzinga and Nathan Bringhurst both scored in helping the fourth-ranked Minters improve to 8-1.
TAYLORSVILLE 2, HUNTER 0: Greg Morse and Shawn Blymiller each scored second half goals in leading the Warriors to the win. Taylorsville improves to 6-2 in region while Hunter falls to 2-7.

ALTA 8, TIMPANOGOS 3:Jeffrey Burt and Jacob Cavanaugh each scored four goals as the top-ranked Hawks defeated the Timberwolves.
JORDAN 2, HILLCREST 1:Brandon Hagen scored the game-winning goal midway through the second half to lift the Beetdiggers over the Huskies. Josh Hustedt scored in the first half for Jordan and Kyle Strong scored for Hillcrest.
MOUNTAIN VIEW 2, OREM 0:Timmy Goodwin scored both goals for Mountain View as the Bruins topped the Tigers.
REGION 5
HIGHLAND 4, CYPRUS 1:Lance Switzer scored the Pirates only goal in a losing effort against the Rams.
EAST 2, BOUNTIFUL 1:Xadier Gonzalez found the net in overtime on an assist from Peter Jackson to lead the fifth-ranked Leopards past the three-time defending state champs. East's regulation goal was scored by Crismon Turner in the seventh minute on a header by Nima Mahak. Bountiful's's goal was scored by Justin Murri in the 15th minute.
MURRAY 7, WEST 1:Colby Wright recorded the hat trick as the Spartans torched the Panthers. Murray improved to 5-3 with the win.

PLEASANT GROVE 2, PAYSON 0: In a battle of 2-5 region foes, the Vikings prevailed with the shutout victory.
TIMPVIEW 2, LONE PEAK 1: The second-ranked T-Birds improved to 6-1 with goals by Rad Clark and David Hunt, while Mark Williams scored for Lone Peak.
PROVO 4, SPRINGVILLE 0:Josh Terry, Clay Ellis, Juan Carlos Gutierrez and Billy Dalebout all found the net as the fourth-ranked Bulldogs blanked the Red Devils.
SPANISH FORK 9, AMERICAN FORK 0:Wes Harris had a monster three-goal effort as the Dons buried the winless Cavemen.

OGDEN 3, GRANITE 0: Blake Garner scored a pair of goals and Josue Arrededno added another as the Tigers improved to 3-2 in region play. Ian Orton had the shut out in the net.
TOOELE 1, BEN LOMOND 0: The top-ranked Buffaloes remained unbeaten as they blanked the fifth-ranked Scots.
