SPRINGVILLE — A pair of burglars broke into the Art City Pharmacy at 405 Main about 10 p.m. Monday night but didn't get away with the drugs they wanted.
People driving by the business noticed the men breaking out windows with a hammer and entering the building and called police.
Springville Police Lt. Dave Caron said police arrived quickly and chased one man over a chain link fence, causing him to catch his shoe and belly flop onto the pavement. The other tried to run into a church parking lot.
Both were captured and detained.

The suspects were not armed but had taped up their fingers so they wouldn't leave prints behind, Caron said.
