Salt Lake-based Nivo International, a provider of certification programs and services, said Thursday it has changed its name to Certiport Inc.

The company said the name change and a new logo equate to a new corporate identity to reflect the company's evolution to a firm offering products and services such as program development, exam development, marketing and channel delivery. Certiport soon will announce a new certification program addressing basic computing knowledge and skills.
