Robert Sherwood, owner of two Salt Lake-area Subway restaurants, has been elected chairman of the Utah Subway market's advertising board. The five-member board is responsible for setting the direction of Subway's local advertising campaigns, as well as hiring the marketing and other agencies to conceptualize the company's promotions. Sherwood owns the Subway restaurants at 2885 S. Highland Drive and 2090 S. State.
Stantec Consulting announced two employee promotions. Brad Mackay was promoted to senior project manager. The Utah Farm Bureau Federation announced that its voting delegates elected Leland Hogan as their new state president. Hogan will succeed Kenneth Ashby, who served as president for 14 years. Hogan operates a farm in Stockton. As chairman of the bureau, he will serve as chairman of the state board of directors and act as a spokesman for bureau policy.
