Charles "Chic" Waagen, beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away Dec. 17, 2001 at age 90.
He was born Nov. 29, 1911 in Maddock, North Dakota. At age 10, he moved to Salt Lake City and lived in the Highland Park area for 80 years.
He was an avid sportsman, golfer, fisherman and hunter. He especially loved basketball.
He is survived by sons, Kent (Lynda), Chuck (Angela) and daughter Vicki (Bill) Soha; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by wife, Mary; parents, three brothers, three sisters and great-granddaughter Shanate Soha.
Funeral Services will be held Thurs., Dec. 20, 2001 at 2 p.m. at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary Chapel, 3401 S. Highland Dr., where friends may call one hour prior to services. Interment at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
