Doris Foote Westbrook, age 75, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2001 in Murray, UT.
Doris was born Jan. 28, 1926 in Altonah, UT to Grant and Ethel Coldwell Foote. On June 3, 1949, she married Robert E. Westbrook in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Doris was an active member of the LDS Church and gave compassionate service through her various callings over the years. For many years she worked at Cottonwood Hospital as PBX operator. Doris was a wonderful mother, grand-mother and great-grandmother, who loved her family deeply. She was an excellent quilter, and many enjoyed the quilts she made.
Doris is survived by her three children, Randy (Sherilyn) Westbrook of Sandy; Debra Wadley of Salt Lake; and Doug (Cindy) Westbrook of Santa Clara, UT; eight grandchildren, Jason, Sabrina, Josh, Bryson, Nick, Stephanie, Morgan, and Brooke; two great-grandchildren, Samantha and Alicia; two brothers, Lane and Dean Foote; four sisters, Naomi, Maxine, Una, and Vicki. Preceded in death by one brother Mark Foote.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 22, 2001 at 12 noon at the East Millcreek 16th Ward, 3408 S. Celeste Way. Friends may call Friday evening, from 7-9 p.m., at the Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 S. 2300 E., and at the church on Saturday from 10:30-11:45 a.m. prior to the services. Interment: Larkin Sunset Gardens.
