Burt E. Park passed away peacefully in Salt Lake City Dec 27, 2001.
He was born March 27, 1923 in Millcreek, UT to John Sidrick and Stannie Burt Park. He graduated from Granite High School and later served his country in the Army during World War II in Italy. He was employed by Kennecott Copper and retired after 33 years. He married Darlene Carsey Sept 27, 1945. Later, their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Survived by his wife, Darlene, of fifty-six years; children, Sandra (Phil) Dahl, Rodney (Karen) Park, Claudia (Ronald) Hamilton, Charlene (Allan) Stewart; eleven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; four brothers, Max, Claude, Bud, Craig; and one sister, Beth Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Wayne.
The family wishes to thank all the doctors and nurses at the VA Hospital for their care and compassion.
Services will be Wed. Jan 2, 2002, 12 noon, Larkin Sunset Gardens Chapel, 10600 S. 1700 E. A viewing will be one hour prior to services at Larkin Sunset Gardens. Interment to follow at Larkin Sunset Gardens.
