LAYTON <! > - Fred Dreu Stettler, age 33, returned to live with his Father in Heaven Tuesday,

Dec. 4, 2001.

He was born August 18, 1968 in Ogden the son of Fred M. and Linda L. Stocks Stettler. Dreu was reared and educ-ated in Layton. He graduated from Layton High School.

He was a member of the LDS church and had served a mission in Lima, Peru for two years. Dreu was very talented, creative, and artistic with Interior Design. He coached little league baseball and did volunteer work with the cystic fibrosis summer camp.

Dreu had a very kind and loving heart. He was a friend to everyone and always found the best in them. Dreu loved his nieces, nephews, and all children. He always tried to make others happy and to let them know he loved them.

Surviving are his parents, Fred and Linda Stettler; fiance, Rebecca

Olberding; her daughter, Jacqueline; three brothers, Darin (Toshia) Stettler, David (Rachel) Stettler, Dustin (April) Stettler; two sisters, Lisa (Ron) Phelps, Mary (Bruce) Brierley; grandparents, George and Jean Stettler, nephews, Tyson, Mason, Wyatt; nieces, Chelse, Brandilyn, Shelby, Presley, Madalyn, Savanah, Kennedy, and Katelyn. Preceded in death by grandparents, Don and Jean Stocks, and nephew, MaCrae Stettler.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 8, 2001 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist's Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends and family may call Friday from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday from 12:45-1:45 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist's Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
