TREMONTON, Box Elder County — A man died from injuries he sustained when the car he was driving rolled five times Sunday.
Dead is:
Dennis L. Atwood, 52, American Fork.
The 7:15 a.m. accident happened as Atwood drove north on I-15 near the 1000 North Street overpass. He hit fresh snow and possibly black ice, according to the Utah Highway Patrol. The car started fishtailing and Atwood lost control, the UHP said. The car slid on its side and rolled. Atwood was partially ejected.
He was taken to Bear River Valley Hospital in Tremonton. Then he was taken by medical helicopter to LDS Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Atwood was traveling to Idaho with family members, who sustained minor injuries, the Utah Highway Patrol said.
