Douglas Everett Barlow, 18, passed away Monday, March 26, 2001 in an accident while at work.
Douglas was born September 5, 1982 in Orem, Utah, the second of four children. He lived in the Orem/Provo area until 1996 when his family moved to Sammamish, Washington, then later to Katy, Texas and in 1999 they settled in Plano, Texas. Doug's sense of humor served his family well as they went through those transition times. His infectious smile and sparkling eyes endeared him to all those around. Doug had a special gift with children and they loved him for his playfulness and kindness. He was a perfectionist in all he did. Doug was very talented musically and played the drums, piano and guitar. He was artistic and spent significant time designing graphics and creative computer layouts. He was active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and participated in the scouting program. He was a disciplined weight lifter and kept himself in top condition. Doug attended Plano West Senior High School and received his graduation certificate in 2000.
He is survived by his parents David J. and Cindy L. Barlow; his brother, Justin C. and sisters Stephanie and Whitney Barlow; his grandparents Wesley J. and Maxine T. Barlow and C. Charles and Donna L. Payton.
Funeral services were held Friday, March 30, in Plano, TX. Peterson
Funeral Chapel will conduct a graveside service April 7th at 1 p.m. in the Brigham City Cemetery, 3rd East and 3rd South, Brigham City, UT.
Douglas was dearly loved and will be sorely missed.
