A very loving spirit has left us to return to her Heavenly Father.
Born May 16, 1978 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Donald E and Susan Alona Hakala. Beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, aunt and friend to many. Jamie was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She attended Alta High School and worked at Merit Medical. A bright source of love and encouragement to her family and many friends who will miss her endless enthusiasm. Jamie loved everyone she knew. She was a chatterbox that loved being at home, grandma's house or anywhere her loved ones were gathered. We will miss you, sweet child.
Jamie is survived by her parents; siblings, Stacy and Tracy England, Donald L Hakala (Liz), Russel L Hakala (Angela), Elder John Travis Hakala (Hawaii), Mindy Hakala; grandmothers, Sarah Naoma McIllece, Rose Marie Hakala; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Friends and family may call at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary/ Chapel, 10600 S. 1700 E. Sandy, Utah Friday evening April 6, 2001 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday April 7, 2001 at 1 p.m. at the Londonderry LDS Chapel 11164 S. Londonderry Drive (1500 E.) Interment Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery.
