Maurine Merrill, 82, died May 10, 2001, from natural causes in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Born April 25, 1919, in Anaconda, Montana to Grant and Harriet Wright. She graduated from Granite High School and married Reed Miller Merrill on November 4, 1937; Maurine was a gifted artist and homemaker. Reed and Maurine were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on September 8, 1983. They had a long and loving marriage.
Survived by her four children:
Robert Wright (Dorothy), Roger Grant, Lynne Rand (Kenneth), Shelley Devey (David); grandchildren,
Christopher, Molly, Michael, Brooke, Heather, Benjamin, Amber, Parker; great-grandchildren, Taylor and
Michael.
Graveside services will be held Monday, May 14, 2001 at 11 a.m. at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park Gilcrest section, 3401 South Highland Drive. Family and friends may call 9:45 - 10:45 a.m. prior to services at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary.
