Donna Rogers Weldon, age 72, passed away May 10, 2001.

Born January 14, 1929 to Lee Rogers and Orlean Briggs. She was active in The Church of Jesus Christ f Latter-day Saints. She lived in the Parley's 2nd Ward for 40 years and had many friends there. She served a mission to the North Central States in her earlier years. Her faith in the Savior sustained her through many trials. Donna loved the simple things of life and always had a positive attitude towards everyone and everything. She worked for Heber J. Grant Insurance Company and Blue Cross-Blue Shield for many years. She devoted her life of service to her family. Donna adored her four children and eight grandchildren, who she called daily. She was an accomplished violinist. She married Paul Jess Weldon, Sept. 16, 1961.

Survived by her husband Paul; children, Sally Peterson (Randall), Sue Fletcher (Shawn), and twin Stephen Weldon, Jane Saylor (Shaun); grand-children, Steven, Adrianne, Ashley, Porter, Seth, Jess, Olivia, and Ellie; sisters, Leone Rogers, Erma Bardsley; brother, Jerry Rogers. Donna left us with a legacy of love and it will live forever in our hearts.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 15, 2001 at 12 noon at Evans & Early Mortuary, 574 East 100 South where friends may call Monday from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to services. Interment will be at the Elysian Burial Gardens.
