The Bowery Trailhead — Take State Highway 9 to 200 North in Hurricane and turn toward Hurricane Hill. See historical marker at the end of the street. Total walking distance on this segment is one mile.
The Hurricane Hill Trailhead — Take State Highway 59 out of Hurricane one mile. Turn left into the dirt parking lot next to the communication towers. This trail follows the rim for 5.2 miles to "The Drop," where you can then hike down to the canal trail.
Virgin Dam Trailhead — Take State Highway 59 east from Hurricane for 3.4 miles. Turn left on a dirt road at highway marker 19. Go 2 miles and turn left at the Hurricane Canal Trail sign. It's 1.5 miles to the trailhead.
Motorized vehicles, camping and campfires are prohibited. Bring plenty of drinking water and a small flashlight for going through tunnels. Flash floods are possible, so be aware of weather conditions. Watch out for rattlesnakes and scorpions.
