For those who are interested in horses, Courage Reins Therapeutic Riding Center in Highland is looking for five or six volunteers. The organization needs volunteers to assist individuals with disabilities during horse-riding lessons.

Courage Reins is a unique service that helps people with disabilities gain confidence by improving balance, posture and coordination through therapeutic horseback-riding. Students gain feelings of independence and develop bonds with the horses.

Volunteers who have a general interest in ranch maintenance are also invited to serve by grooming the horses, tacking lesson mounts and by serving in several other capacities at Courage Reins.
