Our dearly beloved brother, father, grandpa, uncle, and friend, Woody, 51 years young, passed away due to a heart attack, Saturday June 23, 2001.
He was born March 26, 1950 in Ogden, a son of Solomon and Tillie Gallegos. Woody loved to golf, camp and be with his family. He loved life and lived life to its fullest. He graduated from San Bernardino High School. He was employed with Sunbelt Rentals.
Woody is survived by his two sons, Issac. Sergio; and one grandson, Lucius Jr. Valencia. He has four brothers and eight sisters, Sam (Irene) Gallegos, West Haven, Louie (Maureen) Gallegos, Banning, CA, Joe (Kathy) Gallegos, West Haven, UT, Henry (Carol) Gallegos, Riverside CA, Jennie (Ben) Gonzales, San Jose, CA, Estella (Max) Dinsdale, Riverdale, UT, De-lores (Joe) Trujillo, Ogden, Cookie (Lynn) Wardley, Layton, Belinda (Ken) Fierro, N. Ogden, Erlinda Martinez, Ogden, Ramona (Larry) McCubbin, Clearfield, Yolanda Gallegos, Ogden. He had 118 nephews and nieces, and many cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Solomon and Tillie Gallegos and Ray and Eleanor Hinajosa.
Funeral Mass will be Tues. June 26, 12 noon, St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Friends may call at the Larkin & Sons Mortuary, 496 24th St, Mon, this evening, 6-8 p.m. with rosary at 6 p.m.
