LOS ANGELES (AP) — The bodybuilder son of actress Barbara Eden and character actor Michael Ansara was found dead in his pickup truck in a suburban gas station, authorities said.

But the cause of Matthew Michael Ansara's death was not determined. An autopsy was scheduled for Wednesday.

Ansara, 35, of Covina, was found Monday night "lifeless" in his truck in Monrovia, about 20 miles east of Los Angeles, said Monrovia Police Sgt. Tom Loy.

"There was no information or visible indications of trauma or any struggle," he said. "At this time there does not appear to be any foul play."

Eden was planning the younger Ansara's wedding, scheduled for Sept. 1, said her publicist, Gene Schwam.

The bodybuilder and aspiring actor was the only child of Eden, who starred in the 1960s sitcom "I Dream of Jeannie." Eden and Ansara's father were married from 1958 to 1973.

Michael Ansara has appeared in scores of films and television shows, including "The Greatest Story Ever Told," "Star Trek" and the 1950s series "Broken Arrow."

Schwam said the actress was shocked by her son's death.
