Country superstar Tim McGraw, who is riding high on the charts these days, will "Set This Circus Down" in Salt Lake City Tuesday, July 3, part of a 40-city tour taking place this summer. Kenny Chesney and Mark Collie will open the concert.
McGraw, who has had a string of No. 1 hits and collected about every award country music has to offer, is known for his lively, entertaining stage presence, as well as for music that touches the heartstrings.
His latest chart-topper, "Grown Men Don't Cry," is the first single off his "Set This Circus Down" album, his fifth consecutive album to debut at No. 1 on Billboard charts. Past hits have included "Indian Outlaw," "Don't Take the Girl," "Not a Moment too Soon," "I Like It, I Love It," "Can't Be Really Gone," "Everywhere" "Where the Green Grass Grows" "Just to See You Smile" and "Please Remember Me."
McGraw is married to fellow country star Faith Hill, who toured with him in 1995. Their duet, "It's Your Love," spent six weeks at No. 1 in 1997. The couple is expecting their third child in January.
The July 3 concert will be in the Delta Center at 8 p.m. Limited tickets are still available at $39 and $49 at Ticketmaster outlets or by calling 325-SEAT.
