Milgard Manufacturing purchased by Masco Corp.

Window manufacturer Milgard Manufacturing Inc., which operates a facility in Salt Lake City, has been acquired by Masco Corp.

Masco owns more than 50 companies, including Peerless Faucet Co. and Behr Paints. The Milgard acquisition will allow the company to expand into the window and patio door market, the company stated.

Milgard will continue to operate its Salt Lake plant, and its day-to-day business will remain unaffected, company president Gary Milgard said.

Based in Tacoma, Wash., Milgard Manufacturing operates 16 locations in the Western United States, including the Utah facility.
