I find it very surprising that Glen Davis has decided that he is the best person to be chairman of the Utah Republican Party. During last year's Republican primary, he presented himself as a man of principle and made such a big deal about how he supports the state party platform.
My question to Mr. Davis is, does he equally support the state party constitution? Specifically Article 1, Section B, which says: The Party shall nominate and support the election of Republican candidates in partisan races for public office . . .
How does Davis think he can lead the Republican Party after endorsing a Democrat over the incumbent Republican governor? Is Davis a man of principle or an opportunist? My final question is, whom is Davis going to have nominate him at the Republican convention, Bill Orton?
