PROVO — Galtech Semiconductor Material Corp. said Monday that two top executives have resigned.

William F. Pratt resigned as president, chief executive officer and member of the board of directors; and David R. Porter resigned as secretary and board member.

The company said the resignations permit the two "to focus their attention on other interests outside of Galtech."

Galtech, a research and development company focusing on semiconductor material for a worldwide market, said a search is under way to fill those vacancies and restructure the company's day-to-day management.

Board member Kent Holt said Galtech is renegotiating funding, planning the relocation of production and administrative facilities, renewing key strategic relationships and undertaking other tasks to produce and sell its semiconductor materials.
