Glenn R Killian, age 69, passed away August 9, 2001 surrounded by his loving family.
Born May 8, 1932 in Roosevelt, Utah to Grant B and Lora Richins Killian. He married Dona G. Christensen, November 9, 1951 in Whiterocks, Utah. Glenn worked for Utah Welders Supply for 36 years. He was a member of the American Welding Society, in which he held many positions of responsibility including chairman. He was an avid golfer and loved camping, traveling and spending time with his family and many friends who will all miss his sense of humor.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Dona Christensen Killian; sons: Owen Glenn Killian (Partner, Kevin Davis); David Grant Killian (Laura); daughter, Karol Drechsel (Gary); brother Clinton H Killian of Roosevelt, Utah. "Grampa" will be missed by his seven grandchildren: Jeffrey, Christiaan, Kandace, Kollin, Logan, Krystal and Whitney, and by his great-granddaughter Maddison.
Preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Mont and Don.
Memorial services will be held Monday, August 13 at 2 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens Chapel, 10600 South 1700 East, Sandy, UT 84092, where the family will receive friends and family Sunday afternoon 5-7 p.m. and Monday one hour prior to the services.
