Jack Burke Depew returned to his Heavenly Father, his loving wife of 50 years, his dear son, and his precious grandson, on August, 11, 2001.
Jack is a man of few words, a man of honor and a kind and loving man. He served his country in World War II, is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, retired from Pacific States Pipe Company after 35 years and helped everyone in need.
Jack enjoyed fishing, boating, hunting and working on cars. Most of all, he loved his family. He is our hero. He has a great sense of humor and always looked and acted "young and full of fun."
Jack is survived by his daughter, Joan D. Pate (Bud), his son, Mark E. Depew, his sister, Beth Strong, his three beautiful granddaughters, Brittany, Alexis and Danielle Pate. He is preceded in death by his wife, Faye Simmons Depew, oldest son, Charles Burke Depew, only beloved grandson, Christopher Bud Pate, brother, Max Depew, sister, Faye Elmer and Mark's sweet dog Heidi. What a joyous reunion there must be!
Thank you to the caregivers at Highland Care Center who loved and cared for Daddy this past year.
Friends and family are invited to a viewing at Walker Funeral Home in Payson, Utah, located at 587 South 100 West, on Saturday, August 18, 2001 at 1 p.m. and graveside services at 2 p.m. at Payson City Cemetery located at 805 East 400 North.
We will always and forever love you, Daddy!
