Elizabeth Ann Roberts, Beth, our daughter, sister, aunt, niece, granddaughter, cousin and friend, left us on August 19, 2001, near Healey, Alaska, as the result of a tragic automobile accident. Beth was loved and will be missed by all who knew her.

Beth was born to Gordon and Ann Roberts on October 30, 1975.

Beth was a beautiful girl who embodied life. Beth always took "the road less traveled." That, coupled with her love of the outdoors, led her to spend most of the last few years working on rivers in Alaska. This is where she loved to be and she seemed restless anywhere else. Beth had friends everywhere and all who met her loved her instantly. Beth had an amazing smile, a sunny and playful disposition and innate intelligence. No one who knew her was untouched by her openness and her ability to embrace life and to accept others for just who and what they were. She will never be forgotten.

Beth was graduated from Highland High School in Salt Lake City, Utah, in 1993. She attended the University of Utah and was set to enroll in the University of Alaska, Anchorage, this winter. Beth's ultimate aspiration was to be an elementary education teacher - a perfect fit for Beth who had a true gift with children.
