"Hack" Jolley <! >

LOVELL, WYOMING-<! >

Hack Jolley, age 68, passed away Saturday, September 15, 2001 at his home in Bountiful, Utah after a long bat-tle with cancer.

Hack will be remembered by his family, church members, and community for his many acts of loving service. In his quiet, gentle manner he made lasting impressions on all those whose lives he touched.

Hack was born New Year's Eve, December 31, 1932 in Lovell, Wyoming to Merrill Alva and Lucilla Robertson Jolley. Hack was born and raised in Lovell and attended Utah State University in Logan, Utah. He graduated with a degree in accounting later obtaining his certificate to practice as a Certified Public Accountant. While in Logan, he met and married his sweetheart, Janean Call on June 17, 1955 in the LDS Logan Temple.

He was successful in business and provided well for his family in various fields (ranching, farming, insurance agency with his parents, real estate, and banking). For many years, Hack was a Director at First National Bank and Big Horn Federal Savings and Loan.

Hack loved his family and the people he served. He was always looking for ways to help others. He understood well and demonstrated the Savior's admonition that "inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me." As a result, many can count Hack as a true friend. Hack listened well and often provided wise advice to his family and friends. He faithfully served his Church in many positions, including five years as the Bishop of the Lovell 4th Ward.
