- Ora L. Sudweeks Paystrup Butler, age 75, passed away September 28, 2001 in Payson, Utah.
She was born on January 26, 1926 in Ephraim, Utah to Carlos O. and Katie L. Jensen Sudweeks. She married Reuben Paystrup June 5, 1946; later divorced. She mar-ried Lamar M. Butler February 19, 1971; he died November 17, 1994.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother to her own family as well as to those of her step-family. She was an active member of the LDS Church and she found great pleasure in serving her Heavenly Father in various callings. At the time of her death she was a senior employee at the Forest Service, having recently received an award as "Senior Employee of the Year." For most of her working life she served as a licensed practical nurse, touching the lives of so many.
Survived by her children, David (Janna) Paystrup of Pleasant Grove; Shirley (Kirt) Kellett of Moroni; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grand-children; sisters, Leola (Charles) Pettersson, Onita Messina; brother-in-law, Wallace Conover. Preceded in death by her parents; infant daughter; a great-grandson; brothers, Ralph and Jay; and sister, Jean.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, October 2, 2001 in the Nephi North Stake Center, 1125 North 400 East. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Anderson Funeral Home, 94 West 300 North and at the church one hour prior to services. The burial will be in the Vine Bluff Cemetery.
