President Bush had his teeth cleaned Saturday in what the White House described as a routine dental exam.

Along with the cleaning, Bush had one crown replaced, according to a White House spokesman.

The spokesman called the dental procedure "routine" and said there were no complications.

Bush also spent time Saturday working in the Oval Office. He remained in Washington over the weekend.

Last month, Bush underwent a procedure to remove skin lesions on his face, two of which were pre-cancerous. The lesions, found on Bush's cheeks, forehead and temple, were removed with liquid nitrogen in the White House physician's office.
