My best friend, wonderful father, grandfather, brother, son, died suddenly January 11, 2002 in West Jordan. He was born Aug 18, 1954 in Ardmore OK to Philip Ly-man Grindstaff and Vivian Hatch. He graduated from American Fork High School, and received his Bachelors in History and later his Juris Doctorate from the University of Utah.
David was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in various capacities also serving a mission in French speaking Quebec. He loved sports (especially his alma mater) and playing golf no matter what the season. David was loved and respected by his clients and business associates.
Children were the jewels of his life and coaching them in any sport brought him a great deal of enjoyment. His family was first in his life and their happiness was his purpose for living. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
