Bill L. Davies passed away January 1, after fighting cancer for more than two years.
Bill was born on April 17, 1947, the son of LaRae Alleman Davies and John T. Davies. Bill grew up in Southern California and graduated from Warren High School and at-tended Cerritos College. He served his country in Vietnam with the United States Army. During his service, Bill received several awards and commendations including the Bronze Star Medal. Upon returning, he attended both BYU and the University of Utah. Bill worked at Snow-bird Resort for many years, as one of the managers of the Lift and Tram Operations. Bill was a kind, gentle, loving person who will be greatly missed by his friends and family.
Bill is survived by his sister, Ann Davies Bonar; brothers, Jon A. Davies, Ed M. Davies; many caring aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews who will all greatly miss their "Uncle Bill."
The family sincerely thanks the doctors and staffs at both the Huntsman Cancer Center and The Veterans Hospital who gave Bill such good care.
