- Richard "Dick" Byron Moffitt, 53, passed away peacefully in his sleep Octo-ber 26, 2002.
He was born July 14, 1949 in Long Beach, CA to Byron and Betty McKenna Moffitt. He married De-Anne Kerr Aug 19, 1969. Dick was a great friend to many. A wonderful hus-band, father, brother, and grandfather. Dick's greatest joy in life was being a best friend to his sons. He will forever be remembered as our "CANDY MAN!"
He is survived by his wife, DeAnne; sons, Richard Jason (Wendee), Jarod Sean (Ronda) Moffitt; mother, Betty Hansen; brother, David (Sara) Moffitt; two grandchildren, Makayla, Nicolas; grandmother, Deane Moffitt; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Graveside services Tues. Oct 29, 2 p.m. Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. 10600 S, Sandy. Directors, Larkin Sunset Gardens. In lieu of floral offerings donations may be made to Primary Childrens Medical Center.
