- Sharon Eskelson Boren, age 69, passed away October 3, 2002 at the Ash-ley Valley Medi-cal Center.
Sharon was born Aug 28, 1933 in Vernal to Dr. Farley Gilbert and Edna Eliza-beth Carruth Es-kelson. She mar-ried Bobby Gene Gebhart later di-vorced. Sharon loved going to the horse races, rais-ing horses, hunting arrowheads, camp-ing, and enjoyed being outdoors. She traveled to numerous states following different horse races. Sharon was proud of all her dogs that she had during her lifetime. She also enjoyed going to lunch and spending time traveling with her friends. Sharon did secretary work for many various businesses in the Uintah Basin.
Sharon is survived by daughter, Becky (Randy) Jackson, Vernal; grandchildren, Bobbie (Erek) Spencer, Vernal, Glenn Jackson, Megan Jackson, Rhett Jackson; and great-grand-children, Randi, Brianne, Zakkery, Ryan Spencer; brothers, Dr. Y.D. (Camille) Eskelson, Park City, UT, Richard (LaRene) Eskelson, Murray, UT.
Services will be Tues. Oct 8, 2002, 11 a.m., Davis Stake Center (4080 S. 2500 E). Friends may call Mon. 6-8, Thomson-Blackburn Vernal Mortuary and at the church one hour prior to services. Interment, Vernal Memorial Park Cemetery. Directors, Thomson-Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
