Although opened for several weeks, the library was officially dedicated on Saturday. Among the speakers were librarian Lyn Oryall and Mayor LaDue Scovill. The time capsule near the library's entrance will be closed on Nov. 15 and not reopened until 2052, a city staffer said. The library was built from revamping a century-old church across 100 South from City Hall.
