Danny Lynn Hardwick, age 56, passed away at home surrounded by his family November 3, 2002 in Taylorsville, Utah of acute leukemia.

Born April 16, 1946 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Roy Lynn and Verle Peterson Hardwick. Married Patti Jo Sorensen April 3, 1974 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Danny was a Mechanical Engineer for EIMCO Mining Machinery, retired from GE OEC in April of 2002. A very loving husband and father, brother and grandfather. Member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Member Mt. Dell Men's Association. Avid golfer, fisherman, oil painter, musician and loved to ride his motorcycle. He was a genuine and all around loving, caring, person. The most important part of his life involved his family and being with them.

Survived by his wife, Patti, sons and daughters, Heather (David) Kessler, Jim, Cori (Brett) Robbins, Joanna (Tate) Cleverly, Christian, Jeff, Nichole, four grandchildren, Cameron, Alexis, Bridger, Chloey, three sisters, Karol (Carl Lee) Harlon, Vawna (Gary) West, Terri Hardwick, numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, brother Bobby, daughter Andrea, step-daughter Mindee, and niece Amber.

Funeral services will be held Thursday November 7, 2002 12:00 noon at the Taylorsville 10th ward, 4950 So. 1950 W. Friends may call Wednesday 6-8 p.m. at the Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary 4760 So. State St. and Thursday 11-11:45 at the church. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens.
