Vaughn A. Hayes, devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2002 in Leeds, Utah after a valiant battle with cancer.

He was born November 27, 1933 in Salt Lake City, Utah, the son of Roy and Ethel Clark Hayes. He married Carol Cluff on June 12, 1953. The marriage was later solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple.

Vaughn was an avid golfer and member of Goldwing Motorcycle Club. He enjoyed sailing, antique car restoration, hiking, and being outdoors in the Earth's beautiful surroundings.

Grandpa (Pocco) was a loving, bright light in his grandchildren's eyes and an example and inspiration to his daughters, family and friends. We will miss you so very much.
