Our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Olive V. Snyder passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2002 in Salt Lake City, Utah after a long illness.
Born April 6, 1919 in Denver, CO to Paul and Sophis Padilla Sanchez. She married Frank King, later divorced. Married Albert F. Garcia, later divorced. She then married William L. Snyder who preceded her in death, 1996. She worked for many years as a Registered Nurse and later retired from Tooele Army Depot. Olive was a devoted mom, grandma, and grandma-grandma as she was known by her great-grandchildren. She spent many years crocheting, reading, fishing and caring for her beautiful garden.
She is survived by her children; Penny King, Toni Garcia, Albert (Car-olyn) Garcia; grandchildren, Pauline (Dan) Dimick, Phillip Garcia, Travis Garcia; great-grandchildren, Kevin Dimick, Danielle Dimick, Natali Dimick; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Mon. Dec 16, 2002 Peel Funeral Home, 8525 W. 2700 S, Magna 12 noon. Friends may call one hour prior to services. Interment, Utah Veterans Memorial Park.
