BOUNTIFUL - (Zella) Margean Cooper Ostler, age 72, departed from her family to her eternal father in heaven Wednesday, February 6, 2002 in Bountiful, Utah.
Born January 5, 1930 in Nephi, Utah the daughter of John Victor and Edna Blanche Draper Cooper. She married Alan Lew Ostler, January 7, 1948 in the Manti LDS Temple. She loved life and the outdoors. She loved her husband, children and her grandchildren most of all. She was well known for her angelic soprano voice. She has sung for many funerals, at church, and on many other occasions. She was a master gardener and created beautiful flowers around her home. Most of all she taught us to love each other and to love God.
She is survived by her husband, Alan; children, Steven A. and Deborah Ostler, Farmington; Jeffrey L. and Jan Ostler, Layton; Geri Lyn and Louis O. Christensen, North Logan; Regan A. and Drake Shattuck; West Jordan; 22 grandchildren; seven great-grand-children; brothers and sisters, Rayola Cooper Wankier, St. George; Edith Cooper White, Tremonton; Gerald M. Cooper, Ephraim. Preceded in death by her brother, Don V. Cooper.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 9, 2002 at 11 a.m. at the Bountiful LDS Chapel, 2663 So. 50 West, Bountiful. Friends may call Friday evening from 5:00 - 6:30 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 No. Main, and Saturday morning from 9:30 -10:30 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, February 9, 2002 at the Vine Bluff Cemetery, 1200 North 400 East, Nephi, Utah.
