A loving husband, father, and friend Allan (Bock Leen) Chew, 79, passed away Monday, February 4, 2002.

He was born on October 2, 1926 in San Francisco, California. Allan moved to China with his family at the age of 5. After World War II, he later returned to San Francisco. In 1961 Allan moved to Salt Lake City, Utah. In 1974 he went to Hong Kong, where he married his loving wife Lindy Chang.

He is survived by his wife and three children, Lindy, Carolyn, Karrie, and Lawrence of West Valley City, Utah; his two brothers, Edward Chew of San Francisco, California and Johnson Chew of Los Angeles, California; and his two sisters Alice Chin and Erline Chin of Oakland California.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 9, 2002 at 2 p.m. at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Chapel, 10600 So. 1950 E. A viewing will be held Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Larkin Sunset Gardens mortuary and one hour prior to services. Interment to follow at Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery.
