PARADISE, UTAH <! > Marianne Richards Jensen, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend suddenly returned home to Heavenly Father on Feb. 27, 2002.

Marianne was born March 23, 1934 in Port Hueneme, CA the daughter of Douglas D. Richards and Cecile Horton. She attended schools in Camarillo and Oxnard, CA.

She met Lyman Jensen in the fall of 1953 and they were married April 14, 1954 in the Salt Lake Temple for time and all eternity. Over the next several years they moved around while Lyman finished his Navy career, attended school and worked and finally moved to Holladay, UT in 1969 when Lyman went to work for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They both retired in 1994 with Marianne also working for the Church for 13 years. They then moved and built their dream home in Paradise, UT in 1996. Marianne served as the Paradise Town Recorder for the last 3 1/2 years, retiring Dec. 31 2001.

The most important part of her life was her family and she loved them very much.

She served in the Church in many positions and loved and cared for all those she served. She held many positions in the Primary and was serving as the Relief Society president in the Paradise 1st Ward at her passing.

Lyman and six children, Melinda (Brent) Arnold, South Jordan, UT; Douglas (Lynn) Jensen, Sandy, UT; Scott (Selina) Jensen, McCammon, ID; Georgianne Jensen, Paradise, UT; Peter (Karrie) Jensen, Tooele, UT; and Christopher Jensen, Paradise, UT; 13 grandchildren; a brother, Ted (Janice) Richards, Fullerton, CA; and several aunts and cousins.

Services will be held on Monday March 4, 2002 at 12 noon at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Chapel, 9060 So. 200 W., Paradise, UT.

Family and friends may attend a viewing Sunday, March 3, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Allen Hall Mortuary, 34 E. Center St., Logan, UT and at the Chapel 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. March 4. Interment will be in the Avon, UT Cemetery
