Opal May Snyder, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, returned to her Heavenly Father peacefully March 23, 2002.

Opal was born Jan 28, 1933 to Carl E. Salyer and Jewel DeFries. She was loved, nurtured, and raised by Maybelle Hoselton. Mom was an elite lady with a heart of gold. She was loved by all who knew her. She was a woman of great courage and love. She will be dearly missed.

Survived by her mother, Maybelle Hoselton; daughters, Shelly Blair and husband, Dennis, Kelli Thomas; son, Vince Adler; son-in-law, Steven (Bob-bi) Calder; grandchildren, Raelyn Blair, Tyler, and Nikki Thomas, Tawna (Grant) Sudbury, Steve, Robert, and Tiffany Calder; great-grandchildren, Deniese, Devan, Clint, Savannah, Tristan; and brother, Vern Salyer. Preceded in death by her daughter, Nikki Calder.

Redwood Rd, Taylorsville and one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates. We love you, Mom.
