-Our beloved mother, grandmother, friend, and neighbor, Erma Aurelia Walker Giles went home to her eternal companion, Earl Giles on March 25, 2002.
Born August 24, 1915 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Duane Stanley and Erma Player Walker. She married Earl December 12, 1931 in McGill, NV; their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS temple on June 28, 1955.
Erma was a faithful member of the LDS church. She was an artist with an embroidery needle. Her whole life was her family.
Survived by her children, Earline (Henry) Kvist, JoAnne Ross, and Tom (Francine) Giles; 12 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; and brother, George (Lee) Walker.
Preceded in death by husband, sister, Viola, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all.
Funeral services will be held 12 noon, Thursday, March 28, 2002 at the Magna Ward, 3610 South 8400 West. Friends may call Wednesday 6-8 p.m. at the Peel Funeral Home, 8525 West 2700 South, Magna, and Thursday 11-11:45 a.m. at the church. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
