Virginia Davis Hawkins 84, was our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She passed away March 29, 2002 with her loving family at her side.

Virginia was born March 21, 1918 in Ogden, UT to James and Leva Davis. She had two sisters, Olive (Sattler-Dahn), and Lois (Woods). With their parents, they later moved to Salt Lake City. She graduated from South High School and later married Grant Hawkins March 20, 1940 in the Lyon House. She was a member of the LDS Church where she taught Primary more than 25 years and acted as Primary secretary. She was the PTA secretary for several years at Grant School.

She enjoyed going to dances, singing, sewing, and crocheting. She loved being with her many friends and family.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and grandsons, Jeffrey Todd Graves, Ryan Grant Bringard. She is survived by her sisters; children, Jay Hawkins, Faye and Bob Bringard, Susan Marshall (Alan), Larry Hawkins (Toni); 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Evening services will be Mon. April 1, 2002, 7 p.m., Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 S. Highland Dr. Friends and Family may visit one hour prior. Grave dedication will be Tues. April 2, 2002, 11 a.m. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
