Angeline Hinckley Solomon, age 98, beloved mother, grandmother, and sister passed away April 14, 2002 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Born February 28, 1902, in Hinckley, Utah. The daughter of Alonzo Arza Hinckley and Rose May Robison. Graduated from LDS Business College and worked for the church's Presiding Bishop's Office and Zions Securities. Married Raymond C. Solomon Sept. 28, 1938 in the Salt Lake Temple.
She was an active and faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many capacities. She had a strong testimony and loved to serve her family and the Lord. She was loved by all.
Survived by her sons, Charles H. (Janet), Salt Lake City; Raymond H. (Winona), Mesa, AZ; David H., Salt Lake City; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and sisters, Nellie Jones, Thousand Oaks, CA; Beulah Rose, Salt Lake City; Zina Ashton, Salt Lake City. Preceded in death by her husband, Raymond C. Solomon; infant daughter, Anna Rose Solomon; Lois Edna; Harold A.; Afton Badger; Rulon T.; Mabel L. Burgoyne; Susannah Palmer; Ethel Irvine; Benjamin Ira; Mary Craven; and Arza A.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 18, 2002, 12 noon, in the Yalecrest 1st Ward, 1035 So. 1800 E. Friends may call at Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple, Wednesday evening 7-8:30 p.m. and at the church on Thursday 10:30-11:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment Salt Lake City Cemetery.
