Peterson Ventures Inc., a Salt Lake-based private equity firm, has changed its name to Peterson Capital Inc. to more accurately reflect its focus on buy-outs and recapitalizations of mature, profitable companies.
Formed in 1995, Peterson Capital's portfolio is composed of about 30 companies with more than $100 million of growth capital under management.
The company has three principals: founding partner Joel Peterson, managing partner Jordan Clements and partner Rick Stratford.
