Darrel Voss Tubbs, 55, passed away Sunday April 14, 2002 in the University of Utah Hospital. He was surrounded by family and friends.
Born August 18, 1946 in Malad, son of Stuart and Faye Lowry Tubbs. Served an L.D.S. Mission to New England. Raised and educated in Malad and was a graduate of BYU. Served in the U.S. Air force. Worked in Salt Lake and California. Following retirement from AT&T Moved back to Malad, ID.
Survived by his life partner, Peter Serafin; parents, Stuart and Faye Tubbs; brother, Ron (Teresa) Tubbs all of Malad; sisters, Beverly (Paul) Howell of Nibley, Utah; Sharon (Sam) Hendricks of Salt Lake City; Joyce (Richy) Mizrahi, of Boulder, Colorado. Several nieces, nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother Dan; a sister, Vicky Hall and two nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday April 19, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. in the Malad LDS 2nd Ward Chapel 100 W. 20 So. The family will receive friends at the Horsley Funeral home 132 W. 300 No. Tonight, 7-9 p.m. Burial will be in the Malad City Cemetery.
