Betty Jean Webster Fitzgerald, 77, died April 18, 2002, of complication
following surgery.
Born March 2, 1925 to Lewis P and Mary Jane Jones Webster in Sandy, UT.
Married Paul "Sandy" Fitzgerald on Oct. 11, 1944.
She was a lov-ing wife, mother and grandmother. She loved children and her large white Cockatoo named Baby and her dog Bitts, she spoiled them just like her kids and grandchildren. She was a wonderful cook and no one ever made better pies. She loved working in her yard, and shopping with her daughters. She worked in her husband's contracting business, answering phones and dispatching, up until her surgery.
Survived by her husband Paul, brothers, Verl; Wesley (Rita); Marlon (Florance) Webster; sisters, Elizabeth Beckstead; June (Clyde) Olson, and Mabel Handley; children, Sandra (Karl) Calder, Paula (Rulon) Harper, Michael (Lori) Fitzgerald, Danny (Pat) Fitzgerald, Debi (Blake) Openshaw and Becky (Dennis) Sharp; 21 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by parents, brothers, Leland and LaVell Webster and a sister, Mary Riley and grandson, Jerry Harper.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 23, 2002 at Holladay Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 Highland Dr. at 12:00 noon. Friends and family may call Monday from 6-8 p.m. at the mortuary and on Tuesday 10:45-11:45 a.m.
