Elmer Duff Landsaw returned to his Heavenly Father and earthly parents on April 23, 2002 at the age of 79.
He was born on August 26, 1922 in Garfield, Utah to Elmer Duff Landsaw Sr. and Ila May McDonald. He was raised in Hunter, Utah and spent summers as a boy in Farmington, Utah. At the age of 19, he enlisted in the Army Air Corp and served honorably in the Pacific conflict of World War II. After returning from war he studied Business Administration at Utah State University and graduated in 1949. In 1950 her married Ruth Clyde in the Logan LDS Temple and moved to Bountiful, Utah in 1951. He worked as a business administrator for the Veterans Administration & Selective Service in Salt Lake City, Utah and the Bureau of Land Management in Vernal, Utah, retiring in 1978. He loved fishing, hunting and sports and spent many hours working with young men in scouting and baseball programs in Bountiful.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Clyde Landsaw; children, Gary D. Landsaw (Judy), Nancy R. Blaylock (James), Dewey C. Landsaw (Barbie), Lisa M. Earl (Doug); sisters, Lorena Burnett, Tabiatha Morgan, Ila May Lovett; brother, Joel Landsaw; 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grand-children.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 29, 2002 at the Bountiful 30th Ward Chapel, 2200 South 650 East, Bountiful. Friends may call Sunday evening from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main and Saturday morning from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment-Farmington City Cemetery.
