Annette Chapman-Carlson, 44, of Pleasant Grove passed away May 10, 2002 at her home.
She was born June 1, 1957 in Provo, Utah to Francis H. and Thelma Wilson Chapman. She married Douglas J. Carlson on May 30, 1998 in Salt Lake City. Annette grew up in Springville and graduated from Springville High School in 1975. She later attended Dixie College and UVSC. She was employed by Jolene Company and worked there many years. Annette developed many friendships during her professional career and maintained lasting relationships from her childhood. Annette was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Annette will be remembered by her family as the "favorite aunt" and had a special love and talent with children. Throughout her life, her family was the most important thing to her and devoted her love, time and energies to both immediate and extended family.
She is survived by her husband Doug of Pleasant Grove; step-daughter, McKenzie Carlson and nephew, Justin Case; parents, Francis and Thelma Chapman of Springville; siblings: Danna Gray, Salt Lake; Cathy (David) Allman, Provo; and Leland Chapman, Springville in addition to 25 loving nieces and nephews. Her brother, Kelly, preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 14, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. in the Grove Creek Fourth Ward Chapel, 900 North 500 East, Pleasant Grove where friends may call one hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. Funeral directors, Olpin Family Mortuary, Pleasant Grove.
