Our Piano Man, Song Writer, Blues Singer, Humorist, and Businessman left us, May 11, 2002.

Born July 17, 1952. Kevin left us as he lived, never giving up and always looking forward. He started his first band in junior high and carried on that profession until 1978 when he bought some used sound equipment and started Performance Audio. He is known throughout the community as well as the country, as the man with the answers pertaining to professional audio needs. Many of Kevin's proudest moments encompassed the projects he embraced. Concerts at Red Butte Garden, Deer Valley, theaters, schools, churches, and many more too numerous to count. Designing sound for theme park rides throughout the world including Australia, Singapore and Tokyo brought out his impressive, creative side, and brought him so much pleasure. He leaves behind with sad hearts his wife Jane and his young daughter Lucy, who made his blue eyes sparkle. They spent many hours grocery shopping and just doing " kid stuff." He was an adoring father.

His mother, Joann Duke Lewis. His father, William A. Lewis preceded him in death.

We would like to thank the multitude of loving friends, his hard working employees and customers who kept the business going throughout his illness. Thanks to all his fine health care professionals: Dr. Kent Defiore and staff, HeathSouth Rehab Hospital and to CareSource Hospice and staff who showed love and caring towards Kevin, his family and friends. Kindness is so far reaching.

Memorial services will be held Thursday May 16th at 12:00 noon, visitation from 11:00-12:00 at Garner Funeral Home 1001 East 11th Ave. To celebrate Kevin's too short life but one filled with happiness and success, friends are invited to Red Butte Garden Visitor

Center, 300 Wakara Way, University of Utah, May 15 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Red Butte Garden or the charity of your choice. And as Kevin would say with a clap of his hands, "New Shooter!"
