Born December 13, 1925, in Ogden, UT, our loving mom passed away May 12, 2002 in North-ridge, CA.
She was the next to the youngest child of Cammon and Vivian Arrington. Betty attended South High School in Salt Lake City, LDS Business College and the University of Utah. She married Clayton Randle March 19, 1949. Before moving to Northridge in the early '60s, they began raising their family while residing in Salt Lake City, Covina, and Novato, CA.
She was active as a hospital and school volunteer, and in church activities. She was active in the Northridge Woman's Club and was a board member for many years. She enjoyed crocheting, oil painting and was an avid reader.
She is survived by brothers, Irby Arrington (Faith), Salt Lake City; John, Salt Lake City; and Burt (Patsy), Whittier, CA; sisters, Sally Oettli, Salt Lake City; and Virginia Booth, Salt Lake City; sons, Guy (Kristen) Provo, UT; Mark (Lauri) Clovis, CA.; and Quint (Leslie), Orem, UT; daughter Gigi (Jim) Hollister, Northridge, CA; fourteen grandchildren and one on the way. Preceded in death by her husband, parents, youngest sister Billie McCullough (Curtis), Salt Lake City; and sister-in-law Mary Arrington (John) Salt Lake City.
Memorial service, Friday, May 17, 2002 10 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 17101 Plummer St., Northridge. Viewing one hour prior to service.
